The Fair

Conference Dinner

Join us for the ESWW 2026 Conference Dinner, an opportunity to enjoy an evening with colleagues and celebrate the international space weather community in Florence.
The dinner will take place at the Fortezza da Basso, an impressive Renaissance fortress built in the 16th century under the Medici dynasty. Today, this historic landmark is one of Florence’s main exhibition and congress venues, combining Renaissance architecture with modern event spaces.
How to get there: The Fortezza da Basso is located just behind the Palazzo dei Congressi, the ESWW 2026 conference venue, and can be reached with an approximately 5-minute walk.
Entrance: Please enter the Fortezza da Basso through Porta Faenza, where signage will indicate the entrance.
